Brad Silberling

After earning an MFA from UCLA, Silberling was signed to Universal Pictures and began working in episodic television. He directed numerous shows for Steven Bochco Productions, including several episodes of the first season of "NYPD Blue." His credits also included "L.A. Law" and "Civil Wars" and, more recently, "Brooklyn Bridge," "Felicity," and the pilot for "Judging Amy."

"Casper," the 1995 box office hit, marked Silberling's feature debut. The film was produced for Universal Pictures by Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment. He followed that three years later with "City of Angels," starring Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan.

His next feature will be "Baby's in Black," to star Susan Sarandon. Silberling's Reveal Entertainment is on the Universal Pictures lot, where he has a production deal with DreamWorks SKG.
