Announcements

  • Join the Bay Area Bruins or upgrade to life membership

The Bay Area Bruins is a regional chapter of the Association, meaning that all association members that reside within our region are automatically members of the chapter. This differs from a regional club, in which the membership dues are collected separately. Our region consists of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Sonoma counties.

All members automatically receive the Bay Area Bruins newsletter (inserted into the UCLAlumni magazine) and the monthly Connect@UCLA e-mail newsletter from the Association.

  • Open Board Positions
The Bay Area Bruins are looking for motivated volunteers to fill positions on the Board of Directors. Board members must attend bi-monthly meetings and plan and participate in events.
    • East Bay Regional VP
    • Sports Chair
    • Young Alumni Chair
    • New Membership Chair
If you are interested in filling a position, please contact Henry Lam at Henry@UCLAlumni.net
