| The Irish Curse - NYCBruins Group Tickets Off Broadway |
Date: March 21, 2010 Details: Let's take advantage of all that NY has to offer! Through a special connection from alumnus John O'Dea ('89), NYCBruins can watch a NEW play off Broadway entitled The Irish Curse! We will be watching the show during its previews and have even been invited to spend some time with the Producer Sarahbeth Grossman ('83), Director Matt Lenz, and Playwright Martin Casella after the show! Join fellow Bruin alumni on Saturday, March 20th at 8pm to go see the newest play off Broadway. What “The Irish Curse” is – and how it manifests itself – is the raw centerpiece of this wicked, rollicking and very funny new play. From its blistering language to its brutally honest look at sex and body image, “The Irish Curse” is a revealing portrait of how men, and society, define masculinity. In doing so, it dares to pose the fundamental question that has been on the minds of men since the beginning of time: “Do I measure up to the next guy?” Soho Playhouse 15 Vandam Street Between Sixth Avenue & Varick Street http://www.theirishcurse.com/ Thank you to all of those who joined us for Avenue Q, Jersey Boys, Wicked, Lion King, In the Heights, Billy Elliot, West Side Story, and Memphis!
