Support Alumni Scholarships

For 71 years, Alumni Scholarships have been instrumental in helping UCLA meet one of its highest priorities: to attract and provide educational opportunities for outstanding students. Through the generosity of UCLA alumni and friends, Alumni Scholarships help fund incoming freshmen and graduate students, community college transfer students and distinguished seniors.

Today, students are finding it more and more difficult to pay for their college educations. With registration fees – and the cost of housing, books, transportation, health insurance and other necessities – undergraduate residents might pay up to $24,000 for the academic year (up to $42,000 for nonresidents.) Alumni Scholarships, ranging from $4,000 to $15,000, can ease financial obligations so that students can focus on what is important to them and to UCLA: education.
