UCLA Alumni Association Arts Scholarships
Important Facts
Award: $4,000 (paid over four years)
Deadline: Varies for each program
Need-based Grants: Available up to $5,000 for first year in addition to scholarship
Additional grants are available for succeeding years; financial need determined by Financial Aid office.
Established in 1995, these scholarships recognize outstanding, focused achievement in the fields of art; dance; design; music; theater, film and television; and world arts and cultures. High school seniors and community college transfer students with outstanding achievement and potential in the arts are identified by UCLA faculty for the scholarship.
Candidates for this scholarship are selected by department faculty, and will be notified of their nomination by the Scholarship office. These scholarships are initially awarded through an application screening and interview process. The second-, third- and fourth-year payments of these scholarships are awarded through a Renewal Scholarship.
