Out-of-State Scholarships are an outstanding opportunity for highly accomplished students who are not from California to fund their UCLA education. Alumni support groups in Arizona, Boston, Chicago, Hawaii, New York and Oregon sponsored competitions last year.
These scholarships are initially awarded through an application screening and interview process. The second-, third- and fourth-year payments of these scholarships are awarded though a Renewal Scholarship.
Eligible applicants who have filed their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) forms with UCLA by May 1 and who reside in participating regions will automatically be mailed applications in May. Each out-of-state club will set its deadlines for applications and interviews.
