Community College Transfer Scholarships (CCTS) are awarded through an application screening and interview process. The scholarship award is for two years made in equal payments. The second-year payment for this scholarship is awarded through a Renewal Scholarship and has additional requirements.
CCTS focus on students transferring to UCLA from one of 107 California community college system campuses. Applicants must be attending UCLA the fall quarter immediately after transferring. Eligible students must have a minimum 3.75 GPA and have completed the equivalent of 90 UC-transferable quarter units at the time of applying, at least half of which were completed at California community colleges.
In order to receive a scholarship from the UCLA Alumni Association you must be a U.S. citizen or be a legal permanent resident of the State of California. Undocumented students are not eligible for this scholarship.
Applications may be filed beginning Nov. 25. Recipients will be eligible for the Renewal Scholarship subject to the completion of a combination of 30 service hours annually to UCLA and the UCLA Alumni Association.
