Geoff Stier
Geoff Stier is a producer with Mirage Enterprises. Since joining Mirage in 1992, he has been involved in the development of Sydney Pollack's films "The Firm," "Sabrina" and "Random Hearts," and Anthony Minghella's "The Talented Mr. Ripley." He is the associate producer of Ang Lee's "Sense and Sensibility;" production consultant on "Fallen Angels," the Showtime anthology series; producer of "Up at the Villa" and "Polish Wedding;" and co-executive producer of "Poodle Springs." After completing his Masters in Critical Studies at UCLA, he began his career working with the Deputy Director of The American Film Institute, before joining the UCLA Film and Television Archive as Assistant to the Director, developing new programs and funding initiatives in support of Archive activities, including the creation of The Film Foundation and the Mexican Cinema Project. He has served on the IFP Independent Spirit Awards Nominating Committee and as a juror for the short film competition at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival.
