More About Professor Claudia Rapp
Claudia Rapp is chair of the Middle Eastern and North African studies department and professor in the history department at UCLA. Her research focuses on the cultural and religious history of the Late Antiquity and the Byzantine Empire. Her recent book, Holy Bishops in Late Antiquity, investigates the ethical and moral expectations of administrative leadership during the process of Christianization in the Roman Empire.
