With Pacific and Atlantic coastlines, active volcanoes, vast rainforests and thousands and thousands of acres of nature preserves, Costa Rica offers unparalleled scenic beauty. Our journey includes San José; the Tortuguero National Park, dedicated to protecting endangered turtles, a cruise on the Tortuguero Canals and hike through the rainforest; and the Tilajari Rainforest Reserve and Tilajari Resort, boasting a butterfly garden and pools of the Ecotermales Hot Springs. Finally, we move to Poas Volcano National Park and the magnificent La Paz Waterfall.
