Fred Burwick is professor emeritus in the department of English at UCLA and has published extensively on British and German Romanticism. He has been named distinguished scholar by the British Academy and the Keats-Shelley Association. Every summer he takes a group of English students to participate in the Wordsworth Summer Program in Northern England, and has received high praise from his many travelers.
